Express Entry, managed from profile to permanent residence

Express Entry is not one program but a ranking system that sits over three: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Canadian Experience Class and the Federal Skilled Trades Program. Your Comprehensive Ranking System score decides whether you are invited, and much of that score can be improved before you ever enter the pool.

You first qualify for at least one of the three programs. Federal Skilled Worker is for people with skilled work experience, usually gained abroad, who meet a points-based minimum on age, education, language and experience. Canadian Experience Class is for those with at least one year of skilled work in Canada within the last three years. Federal Skilled Trades is for qualified tradespeople with a job offer or a provincial certificate of qualification. Each program has its own language, experience and NOC TEER requirements, and we confirm which ones you meet before building the profile.

Once in the pool, your CRS score ranks you against everyone else. The levers are specific: language scores in English and French, education backed by an Educational Credential Assessment, Canadian work experience, your spouse’s language and education, a provincial nomination worth 600 points, and the combinations of language with education or experience that unlock skill transferability points. A language retest or an ECA for a second credential can move a score further than people expect.

IRCC runs draws on its own schedule, and cut-off scores change from draw to draw and by draw type. When you receive an Invitation to Apply, you have 60 days to submit a complete electronic application for permanent residence, the e-APR, with police certificates, medicals, proof of funds and every document that backs your profile. Anything claimed in the profile that cannot be proved in the e-APR is a refusal risk, which is why we build the evidence file before you enter the pool.

Who this is for

  • Skilled workers abroad who want to assess and improve their CRS score before entering the pool
  • Temporary workers and graduates in Canada with a year of skilled experience who qualify for the Canadian Experience Class
  • Tradespeople with a Canadian job offer or a provincial certificate of qualification
  • Candidates already in the pool who have not been invited and want a strategy to raise their score
  • Applicants who have received an ITA and need the e-APR prepared correctly within the 60-day window

What we do

  • Confirm eligibility for FSW, CEC and FST, including the NOC TEER classification of your experience
  • Calculate your CRS score and model the effect of language retesting, an ECA, spouse factors and Canadian experience
  • Guide you through ECA, language testing and proof of funds so nothing delays your profile
  • Create and maintain your Express Entry profile, and align it with provincial nomination and category-based opportunities
  • Prepare and submit the e-APR with reference letters, police certificates, medicals and supporting evidence within 60 days
  • Respond to procedural fairness letters or document requests and track the file to confirmation of permanent residence
