International Travel Visas

An Australia visitor application that meets the genuine temporary entrant test

Australia assesses visitor applications on the balance of your circumstances, and it expects the applicant to make the case. There is no interview to fall back on. We choose the right stream, gather the evidence that proves you are a genuine temporary entrant, and present it in the form the Department of Home Affairs expects.

The Visitor visa (subclass 600) is for people who want to travel to Australia as tourists, to visit family, or for business visitor activities such as conferences, negotiations and exploratory visits. It is normally granted for a stay of three, six or twelve months and may be issued for a single entry or multiple entries. Canadian citizens usually travel on a simpler electronic authority, so this visa is most relevant to residents of Canada holding other passports.

The central requirement is that you genuinely intend a temporary stay. Decision makers consider your personal circumstances in Canada and in your home country, your immigration history, the purpose and length of the visit, and whether you have enough funds. They can also apply a condition that prevents you from applying for most other visas while in Australia. Refusals typically follow from weak evidence of ties, an unclear purpose or a financial picture that does not add up.

We assist with preparation. We are Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants, not Australian registered migration agents, and we do not act for you before the Australian government. Our role is to assess which stream fits, prepare the application through ImmiAccount, organize the supporting documents and check the file for the inconsistencies that lead to refusal.

Who this is for

  • Permanent residents, students and workers in Canada from countries that require a visa to visit Australia
  • Parents and relatives of Australian citizens and permanent residents planning a family visit
  • Business travellers attending conferences, meetings or negotiations in Australia
  • Tourists planning a holiday who want a complete, correctly filed application
  • Applicants refused a subclass 600 visa who want to strengthen their case before reapplying

What we do

  • Assess your eligibility and select the correct stream: Tourist, Sponsored Family or Business Visitor
  • Prepare and lodge the application through ImmiAccount with accurate, consistent answers
  • Assemble evidence of genuine temporary entry: employment, study, property, family and financial ties in Canada and your home country
  • Prepare invitation letters and, for the Sponsored Family stream, guide your Australian relative through the sponsorship steps
  • Advise on health and character requirements, including any medical examination or police certificate requested
  • Coordinate biometrics if required and respond to any request for further information
